Many virtual 3G network operators (e.g. Vectone Mobile, Lebara, GiffGaff) also provide 3G coverage and 3G signal but they use the infrastructure of one of the major UK 3G  network providers (e.g. Orange, O2, Vodafone..)

Every major UK network provider offers a 3G signal in most area in the UK.  However, 3G network strength may vary depending on your location for example, coastal and countryside regions tend to have slightly less signal strength.
